People ask me all the time at what point to I separate my breeding pairs from the community tank? What I tell them is until you see them guarding their clutch, it’s not a good idea to take them out.
And as you can see here (in the video) they are not only guarding their clutch, but that their clutch actually hatched. So, at any point in time, it’s a perfect idea to pull this pair out and put them in their own breeding tank because it is obvious that they are ready and they have parental skills.
